ALIGARH, November 25: Sixteen students of Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College (AKTC), Aligarh Muslim University, have been selected for the post of Medical Officer (Unani Medicine) through the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) examination, marking an outstanding achievement for the institution and bringing immense pride to the AMU community.
The selected candidates, trained at AKTC through rigorous academic and clinical programmes, represent the strong foundation and excellence of AMU’s Unani medical education. Their accomplishment reflects both individual merit and the sustained guidance offered by the college’s faculty.
The selected students are: Dr. Mohd Haris (BUMS, MD), Dr. Sania Khan (BUMS, MD), Dr. Saeed ur Rehman (BUMS, MD), Dr.Swaleha Akhtar (BUMS, MD), Dr. Musab Siddiqui (BUMS, MD), Dr. Sadiya Riyaz (BUMS, MD), Dr. Mohd Rumman Khan (BUMS, MD), Dr. Sana Zaki (BUMS, MD), Dr.RushdaSaeedi (BUMS, MD), Dr. Rashmi Chauhan (BUMS), Dr. Mohd Taslim (BUMS), Dr. Sadaf Jahan (BUMS), Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan (BUMS), Dr.Nooreen Jahan (BUMS), Dr.Shafia (BUMS), and Dr. Nazneen Aiman Siddiqui (BUMS).
Congratulating the selected candidates, Prof. S. M. Safdar Ashraf, Dean, Faculty of Unani Medicine, said that their success demonstrates the strength of AMU’s Unani curriculum and the dedication of both students and teachers. He expressed confidence that the newly appointed Medical Officers will contribute significantly to public healthcare across Uttar Pradesh.
Prof. Badrudduja Khan, Principal, Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, also extended warm felicitations, describing the achievement as a moment of great pride for the college.
